Lombardy poplar Ht 30m  
P.euramericana x nigra. Narrowly columnar, deciduous. This hybrid replaces the old rust susceptable Lombardy poplar. Bright yellow autumn colour is stunning. All grades above 50cm are rooted plants - under 50cm usually unrooted stakes.

P. x euramericana. Broadly columnar, deciduous. Needs summer rainfall for maximum growth. Has grown a little slower than the NZ series. The golden yellow autumn colour is earlier than the others, leaving a golden carpet under the trees.

P. x euramericana. Broadly columnar, deciduous. Vigorous growth and tolerates dry hillsides. Leaves unusually close on the branchlets creating a heavy shade. Develops a little rust in April, too late to spoil the yellow autumn display.
